Grounded therapy that honors your story and builds practical tools for real life
You are carrying a lot, but that doesn't mean that you're broken. Between old wounds, daily stress, and a world that never slows down, it can feel like there's no room to rest and reset. Therapy with me is collaborative: your struggles are taken seriously, your patterns are explored with curiosity instead of judgment, and you leave with real tools so you can feel more grounded, flexible, and connected to your life.
We explore the patterns shaped by your past experiences, uncovering how old wounds influence your present. This deeper understanding becomes the foundation for real, lasting change.
You'll build practical skills to manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions. These tools are concrete and actionable—things you can use right away in your daily life.
A specialized trauma therapy that helps your brain reprocess painful memories. EMDR allows your nervous system to move beyond the freeze response and truly heal from what happened.
When your nervous system is on high alert, we use mindfulness and somatic awareness to help you find rest and reset. Grounding happens in the body as much as the mind.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I've always been drawn to the moments when someone feels truly heard. After more than 15 years in the mental health field — the last 8 as a practicing psychotherapist — I still believe the most powerful thing in this work is human connection. My style is warm, friendly, and client-centered: you bring your story, and I bring a steady, judgment-free space to unpack it.
In sessions I take a trauma-informed approach that blends psychodynamic insight, practical CBT skills, mindfulness, and EMDR. That mix is important and intentional as it leads to understanding your maladaptive patterns while also giving you concrete tools that you can call upon when strong emotions hit. And when trauma keeps your nervous system on high alert, EMDR helps your brain reprocess what happened so it stops running the show.
I believe we're all works in progress — sometimes we just need the right support to reach the next level of understanding and awareness. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to change, I'd be glad to talk.
